a candle in the dark

It started with a snowstorm.

An unexpected one — the kind that knocks out the power and leaves you sitting in the dark wondering what to do next. We lit a candle. Just one small candle. And in that quiet, flickering light, something shifted. The room felt warmer. The night felt less uncertain. That little flame carried more hope than we expected.

We wanted to hold onto that feeling. And eventually, we wanted to share it.

from one flame to many

Jarred Starlight grew out of that simple moment. What began as a curiosity — could we make a candle that burned cleaner, lasted longer, and didn't fill a room with artificial fragrance — became a real pursuit. We started experimenting with soy and beeswax blends, testing ratios, learning what worked and what didn't, and pouring candle after candle by hand until we got it right.

We chose to keep our candles unscented on purpose. No synthetic fragrance oils, no soot, no hidden chemicals. Just a clean, steady flame that actually helps purify the air instead of adding to the problem. For anyone who deals with allergies or sensitivities, that matters. For everyone else, it means a candle you can light without thinking twice.

small batch, big intention

Every candle we make is still blended and poured by hand. We're not a factory — we're a small operation that cares about getting the details right. Our soy beeswax mixtures are hand blended to our own standards. We use organic and sustainably produced ingredients because cutting corners on materials means cutting corners on quality, and that's not something we're willing to do.

Our 5-ounce candles are poured into repurposed jars, giving new life to materials that might otherwise end up in a landfill. And with our customizable lids, the jar keeps working for you long after the candle is gone — for spices, buttons, hardware, whatever you need. Less waste, more use.

light for every occasion
